Registration & Confirmation:
Bring your registration confirmation ticket/number to class. To use our membership benefits, advance registration is required.
Class Credits & Transfers:
If you cannot attend a class you must contact the registration office at least 72 hours prior to your first class meeting. With 72 hours notice we can transfer you to another available class. There will be a $7 transaction fee for dropping the original class
With less than 72-hours’ notice, refunds or transfers are unavailable when cancelling a computer class. Students may attend a future date of the class on a standby/space-available basis only. This option is available to students for up to six months after the date of the initial class.
Priority is given to first-time student registrations, so CompuSkills cannot reserve a place for you beyond a 24-hour window. If you wish to schedule a standby make-up for a class, please call the office at 303-399-0093 x0 one business day before the session you’d like to take begins. As long as there is space available at that time, we will enroll you for the class.
Refunds & Check Fees:
Refunds are given if CFU cancels a class. If you cannot receive phone messages, always call 24 hours in advance to make sure your class is running. Tuition and fees are subject to change. A service fee of $32 will be charged for each returned check.
CompuSkills rarely cancels class for weather. Only if the city shuts down do we shut down. If the buses are running, we’re most likely open. Call the Colorado Free University and CompuSkills Computer Training main line at 303-399-0093 for a “go/no go” update. If cancelled, classes will be rescheduled or vouchers for other classes will be issued.
CompuSkills welcomes students to retake classes on a space-available basis for up to six months after their initial date of attendance in a given class. Priority is given to first-time students, so CompuSkills cannot reserve a place for you beyond a 24 hour window. If you wish to retake a class, simply call the office at 303-399-0093 the business day before the class session you’d like to retake begins. If there is space-available at that time, we will give you that space. Of course, you are always welcome to call in ahead of time to receive updated enrollment counts and better gauge your chances of getting a space.
