Registering for a CompuSkills Class CompuSkills' registrations are handled through our affiliate organization, Colorado Free University (CFU). The following information details the CFU registration processes, policies, and the different methods available to you for class registration. Occasionally, CompuSkills will contract directly with business partners for multiple class sales. In those instances, CompuSkills will handle the registrations directly. If your organization is interested in a direct partnership with CompuSkills for advance sales of multiple classes, please contact us directly at 303-329-6666.
CFU has a membership program. Membership is not required to enroll in classes, however you must pay non-member tuitions if you choose not to purchase a membership. Non-member tuitions are higher than member tuitions in most cases.
$20 Individual Membership: Member tuition for classes and special events for 12 months.
Option to join Space Age Federal Credit Union, 303-369-7666. For other benefits ask your student services representative or visit our website. Class Credits: If you are unable to attend a class as planned 72 hours notification prior to the first class meeting is required or two weeks notice for trips to receive a full class credit. A class credit, less a $7 drop fee, will be kept in our computer records. Class credit expire after one year and cannot be redeemed for cash. Transfers: You may transfer to another class. 72 hours notification prior to the first class meeting is required. A $7 processing fee will be charged at the time of transfer. A service fee of $25 will be charged for each returned check. Refunds: Refunds are given ONLY if CFU/CompuSkills cancels a class. Inclement Weather: CFU/CompuSkills rarely cancels class for weather. Only if the city shuts down do we shut down. If the buses are running, we're most likely open. Call 303-399-0093 for a "go/no go" update. If cancelled, classes will be rescheduled or vouchers for other classes will be issued. Nondiscrimination Policy: CFU and CompuSkills welcome students 18 and over of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all CFU classes. Students under 18 are permitted only with prior consent of the instructor and CFU staff. CFU is committed to making its classes accessible to the disabled community. Our office is located at 1510 York Street in Denver - the NE corner of
Colfax & York. Our office hours are: ONLINE: Complete and send the provided online registration form on our secure server. You should receive an immediate, preliminary confirmation of your request by email, and an official class ticket within two to three business days. If the first session of the class you wish to attend is to occur within the next 72 hours, please call the registration office at 303-399-0093 in order to confirm availability and to register. Also, please know the class number for registration purposes.
